California Scholarship Federation (CSF) is a statewide organization to honor outstanding high school students. As a scholarship society, its focus is rooted in foundations of academic achievement and community service. Students must maintain rigorous eligibility standards each semester in order to qualify for membership. CSF membership is recognized by institutions nationwide as an academic honor. Seniors who meet eligibility requirements for four semesters may qualify for CSF Lifetime Membership, a prestigious academic achievement. For more information, please visit the CSF website.

Membership
In order to become a member, the student must submit an online application at the beginning of each semester during the Clovis East Application window. They will submit the application using the previous semester’s grades.  To secure eligibility for California Scholastic Federation membership, a student must earn a minimum of 10 points from the pre-approved course list that is located on this site and on the CSF Google Classroom. Additional information or question can be obtained in room 732 or 733.

Life Membership section 

(Seal bearer) is achieved by qualifying a minimum of 4 semesters from their sophomore to senior year. One semester must be from their senior year. Students who meet this qualification will earn the CSF Gold Seal on their diploma and wear gold cords and be recognized during the graduation ceremony.
CSF Banquet will be May 10, 2027 at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District. (students must be fully qualified by February 15th, 2027 in order to attend. Senior packet and more details will be available on the CSF Senior Google Classroom

  • CSF Information 2026-2027


    I. General Information

    • Thursday, August 27th in the LLH at lunch (membership info)
    • Thursday, January 14th in the LLH at lunch (membership info)
    • All other info/meetings will be announced on Google Classroom and/or Instagram

    II. Application Deadlines (no late applications will be accepted):

    • The CSF Application will be through a Google Forms link. After application is verified, you will receive a confirmation email and then a link for the $15 CSF payment. Confirmation emails will not be sent out until 1-2 weeks after the application deadline.

    •Fall 2026 Application info (current 10th-12th graders use Spring 2026 grades)

    • Deadline is Thursday, September 10th, 2026- No late applications will be accepted. Please see the Clovis East website and/or the CSF Google Classroom for updates on how to apply online. Freshman will be able to apply starting in January 2027.

    •Spring 2027 Application info (9th-12th graders- use your Fall 2026 grades)

    • Deadline is Thursday, January 28th, 2027-No late applications will be accepted. Please see the Clovis East website and/or the CSF Google Classroom for updates on how to apply online. 

    III. CSF Lifetime Membership:

    • You must have 4 semesters of membership from Sophomore-Senior year. 1 semester must be from your Senior year grades. Freshman semesters do not count towards lifetime membership. **Note: Students who apply and qualify every semester of high school (including Freshman year) will receive the CSF Lifetime Membership with High Honors.
    • Seniors: In February 2027, information will be available regarding the Senior Awards ceremony at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District. The date of this event is scheduled for Monday, May 10th, 2027.
    • You must be fully qualified by Monday, February 15th to participate in CSF Banquet.
